Mayn Zard is an independent Kurdish Dance Group, founded in 2010 in Toronto, Canada. A team of enthusiastic, educated and talented individuals who aim to showcase the beauty of Kurdish dance professionally and beyond and above political orientations. We present different dance styles, from every regions of Kurdistan, to the public.
We also train individuals to spread this art and dance style around the globe and to keep this ancient beauty alive for the future generations. Through our art, we create a bridge between cultures. We strive to do our best to perform respectfully, beautifully, and professionally.

Our vision is to show the world a beauty that has not been already exposed to public as an stage artwork- that is Kurdish dance.
We practice and perform in a friendly environment, and retain full respect to all cultures and art groups.
